René Freudenberg

René studied Business Administration in Germany and obtained his MBA from TiasNimbas Business School, The Netherlands. He then gained valuable international experience, working for Continental AG in Germany, Belgium, England and Spain. In 2004 he joined Interlub Group - The uncommon lubricant company®, the family business started by his father in 1984. In 2005 he worked on the expansion of one of the business units in Brazil and in 2006 he assumed the position of Managing Director of the company. Since taking the helm of the company in 2006, the company has won presidential honors three times for its valuable contributions in the sciences (National Technology and Innovation Award 2019), for the particular way it creates value for its customers (National Quality Award 2017) and for exports from Mexico (National Export Award 2016). René is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Instituto para el Fomento a la Calidad and is part of the Board of the Colegio Alemán Guadalajara (since 2019), the Board of Fundación Marisa (since 2019) and the Board of Endeavor Mentors (since 2017) and was also President of the Guadalajara Chapter of Enlace+ (Tec de Monterrey) from 2018 to 2021.
