ATMS and Hannover Fairs México will bring a replica of Hannover Messe to Mexico

Mexico City, February 7, 2019.- Hannover Fairs México, together with the Association for Technology, Manufacturing and Solutions (ATMS), signed an agreement to bring to Mexico the replica of Hannover Messe, the most important industrial fair in the world, which takes place every year in Germany.

The metallurgic sector consists of 23 thousand companies that together comprise 14 percent of the Gross Domestic Product and employs 8.5 million workers, making it one of the most important sectors in the country.

Hannover Fairs México is a subsidiary of the German Deutsche Messe, organizer of the main trade fairs worldwide.

With the joint signature of Bernd Rohde, Managing Director of Hannover Fairs México and Arturo Lozano, president of ATMS, both organizations decided to join forces in order to launch together Industrial Transformation MEXICO (ITM).

ITM will be a replica of Hannover Messe and was born out of this alliance to become a reality, stated Arturo Lozano. The fair which will be held in October 2019 in the city of León, Guanajuato, promises to be the most important industrial tradeshow in Latin America.

Since its creation in 2016 ATMS has aimed to promote the development, growth and strengthening of the metallurgic sector.

“To provoke that our associates interact and exchange ideas with the greatest leaders of the industry, has been the path that ATMS has been following throughout the years” highlighted Lozano.

The continuous search for offering exhibitors a completely specialized venue, where business opportunities are within reach, is what will result in a more than 2,000 m2 large exhibition, entirely dedicated to the machine tools and related sector. Within Industrial Transformation MEXICO, ETMS 2019 (Star Event of ATMS) will gather international excellence into a single forum, presenting:

  • Machine tools
  • Cutting tools
  • Clamping devices
  • Metrology
  • Automation
  • Peripherals and others

Under the overarching themes of smart manufacturing and digital transformation in Mexico, ITM ties together education programs, conferences and tradeshow.

The exhibition program presents four main categories: Intelligent Manufacturing, Automation and Industrial Robotics, Digital Manufacturing and ICT, and Intelligent Logistics, it will also have live presentations and one-on-one consultations.

The event covers industry sectors including aerospace, automotive, electronics, food and beverages, metallurgy, packaging and steel and petrochemical processes.
